A Vision Becomes A Reality
Ann Levene-Eisenberg
Executive Director
The ground is cleared and the walls are going up! After 15 years, The Palm Beach School for Autism will
have its own home; a place specifically designed for students on the autism spectrum.
It’s hard to believe that we have
now arrived at this point after many years of careful strategic planning and hard work.
A special thanks goes out to the
members of our Board of Directors, our families, teaching staff and the community for all of their support, patience and
perseverance in helping us take a vision and turning it into a reality.
Our 22,500–square-foot building will be completed in August 2012 as we welcome in the new school year.
Currently
we educate over 145 students in seven cottages on the A.
G.
Holley Complex; in the new building we will be teaching
more than 200 children with autism spectrum disorder.
To help us achieve this goal we have launched the One Piece at a Time capital campaign in December 2011.
