Upgrading Information Literacy Objectives with Information Technology
The University of Northern America (UNA) has many polarizing aspects that define its
overall educational mission.
Geographically, is it located in an extreme northern climate and in the
largest city of one of the least populous states.
Academically, the main campus serves the majority
of the state’s college-going citizens as located within the municipality itself, while embracing the
obligation and challenge of delivering its educational outreach to the surrounding (and more
typical) rural areas throughout the region.
The university’s accreditation standards are well
documented and accessible to both faculty and students as it applies to all aspects of the
curriculum.
